Young Adults are the most stress in America


"Young Adults are the most stressed in America."




In 2012 the stress levels of young adults has exceeded the normal level . This is very important as we are the young adults and this is taking a toll on our generation. We are growing up during a tough time, and we are faced with enormous amounts of self inflicted pressure and high expectations for not only what but what others feel we must achieve.  The media and the government has influenced us drastically, believing that if we aren't successful then we aren't measuring up. Suicide is the third leading cause of death for teenagers and young adults. "Young Americans between 18 and 33 years old -- the so-called millennial's -- are more stressed than the rest of the population"WebMD  "Young Adults most stressed Generation. To cope with stress, Millennials are more likely to report sedentary behaviors, such as eating (36%) or playing video games or surfing the Internet (41%), the survey finds. But the most common coping mechanism is listening to music, cited by 59% of young adults; 51% exercise or walk, about the same as the national average (52%).USA Today-Millennials are also more likely to be told they have depression or an anxiety disorder.
