.GAS PRICES!! 

With gas prices continuously going up there's little we can afford to even do for ourselves anymore besides showing your appreciation by filling someones gas tank up, what a lovely gift. I'm sure anyone who drives as often as I do, or anyone  who has to drive 30 minutes to work everyday would love that. With me having to drive 15 miles back and forth to class each day it has become a real annoyance. People with trucks and  SUV'S are the main ones I feel sorry for, my father has a Chevy Silverado and it Takes 85.00$ to fill up. Car pool, and bus rides are beginining to be a big thing in big cities and other areas, im sure alot of people in the The Northern states arent really bothered by the gas proces raising becasue they have subways and trollies and such.  I thought this was a very funny editorial cartoon, however this is very true and for some Americans I'm sure the amount they spend to fill up their cars were the same amount they could have spent on someones Valentines day gift. With the changes the President has planned to make gas prices have been rising each and every day. .I feel as of this editorial could not have been funnier, but  relating to the lifestyle of a middle class American. The Author, Marshall Ramsey The Jackson Miss. Clarion-Ledger could have made this cartoon better by illustrating the gas pumping to be the gift, by showing that with a bow or something representing it. Her interned audience was for middle class, republicans, aggravated Americans, and the Oil and Gas companies. USA Today
